1800 partially blown up during the war against Napoleon
Reconstruction in 1822 and in operation until a modern bridge was rebuilt in 1978

The old four-bay arched bridge over the Altmühl near Pfünz is considered one of the most important historical stone bridges in Bavaria. It was probably built in the 15th century.

This beautiful old bridge fits perfectly into the landscape and is a real gem.
On the trip on the Altmühl you can see many gems of this kind, just beautiful and picturesque!
You almost feel like you are traveling through old times and yes, you can forget the time and dream of days gone by.
