The big brother of two bridges of the same name.
The smaller Napoleon Bridge is about 500 meters south ☝️
The large Napoleon Bridge was completely restored some time ago and closed to motor vehicle traffic "at great expense" - a ford leads past the bridge!
Very nice bridge, a large information board reveals interesting facts.

The former Salt Road ran west of Lüneburg via Gifhorn to Braunschweig! Napoleon's henchmen are said to have built the Napoleon Bridge there, but one suspects that the bridge is even much older! It has also become more expensive 😉
