The city of Beilngries is located in the middle of the Altmühl Valley Nature Park and directly on the Main-Danube Canal. A breath of the south blows through the streets of the historic old town with its medieval towers and baroque buildings. The prince bishops of Eichstatt were drawn here to enjoy the summer.

Beilngries has a beautiful old town that invites you to take a stroll. Hirschberg Castle is also a real highlight. The building, used as a conference center, sits on a mountain spur high above the city. The castle courtyard is freely accessible and worth a visit.

Another interesting attraction in Beilngries is the Brewery Museum, which is located in an underground rock labyrinth.

Entry costs five euros. The museum is open every Sunday from April to October 31st from 10:30 a.m. In August it also opens on Thursdays.

The historical place is a very beautiful place. We were all very flashed together. I was in the mega beautiful church of St. Walburga Beilngries and also lit a candle for us here. 🥰
