The manor house looks a little English. A remote commodity that I didn't know until now. Formerly in the border area today in the middle of Germany. The whole area is still lonely.

The mansion with its 450 square meters of living space has hardly changed since it was built in 1862. It looks like a hunting lodge and is richly decorated with trophies. A number of agricultural buildings are grouped around it.
The current building had a predecessor in the same place, but this half-timbered house burned down in 1862 and was replaced by a two-storey new building with an open terrace on the courtyard side and a balcony above. The new, comparatively simple mansion did not necessarily fit into the time when buildings were more in the late classical and neo-Gothic style.
