The flooring of the narrow pedestrian and bicycle bridge is made of wooden planks. A busy bicycle route in Nordhorn runs over the almost graceful bridge, which spans the Vechte river flowing out of the Vechtesee.

From here, you can enjoy a view of Lake Vechte and the confluence of the Vechte River with the connecting canal and the Nordhorn-Almelo Canal. However, due to the extremely busy traffic, there isn't always time to enjoy the nature.
