On the territory of Dessel, Sas 4, the three canals cross Bocholt-Herentals, Dessel-Schoten and Dessel-Kwaadmechelen, unique in Europe. For this reason, it was decided to place a watchtower at this canal intersection. The tower is best reached by car via the Nieuwedijk. The address of the Sas4-Toren is Nieuwedijk 72Z 2480 Dessel.

The Sas4 Tower is 37 meters high and offers a magnificent view. In clear weather you can see several kilometers away. The tower has 216 steps and is easy to enter. Afraid of heights or difficult to walk? No problem. In the visitor center you can watch the images of the view on a TV screen. It gives you an impression of what can be seen on top of the Sas4 Tower, but nothing can match reality. So climbing the 216 steps is definitely worth it. And the condition does not deteriorate either ...

For the children there is a natural play forest where they can romp to their hearts content.

Very nice part to do. Then further along the pancake boat and then further along the marina at the silver lake. Beautiful pieces of nature and decent bike paths to ride smoothly and comfortably
