For Bärenfels you should definitely make a detour, as here offers a great view. The foundations give an idea of how the castle was once built into the rock.

ハイキング
The ruins of Bärnfels Castle rise high above the town of the same name. The most striking feature is the rock tower made of dolomite rock. He was the reason why the castle was built on this spot. The keep stood on top of the rock and offered the lords of the castle a phenomenal view.
Like so many castles in Bavaria, Bärnfels Castle fell victim to the peasant wars in 1525. Today the ruins can be visited. A narrow staircase leads up and a magnificent view awaits you at the top.
