A great idea to float over the Niers instead of building a simple bridge. When we arrived across the river, a black cat was waiting there and boarded the ferry. Whether she has been waiting for a crossing ;-)

I think it's nice that there are different ways of crossing the Niers. Here it is a transporter ferry, sometimes a ferry where you pull yourself through water, sometimes an old railway bridge, sometimes a wooden, steel or concrete bridge.
