The place Karow once consisted of three knightly estates, of which only this one is preserved. It comprises a manor house, a distillery, a former cattle stable and a 20 hectare park. From 1774 until its expropriation in 1945, the Karow estate was the seat of the imperial count von Wartensleben.

The manor house, built in the style of the Italian Baroque, was built in 1710 and partially demolished and converted in the mid-1950s.

After the Second World War, many refugees found accommodation in the large house. Until 1999 it served as a school building and has been privately owned again since 2005 and is partly used as a day care center.

When viewed from above, you can see its horseshoe-shaped layout. The obelisk in the courtyard commemorates the Franco-Prussian War in 1870/71.
