This is the largest prairie-dog town in the accessible areas of Badlands National Park. You will see and hear prairie-dogs moving between the mounds of dirt they make their home.

Prairie-dogs are wildlife, so you should always view them from a safe distance.

Robert's Prairie Dog Town is a wonderful place to, you guessed it, watch prairie dogs. The little guys have taken up residence on the property between tables and benches. Or maybe they were here before Robert? A short stop is worthwhile in any case. And if you need some souvenirs, you'll also find a gift store here.
