Unfortunately, you can no longer go directly to the lake (former basalt quarry), as it is fenced in all around. The former access from the hiking trail on the valley side is also barricaded. Was a popular hotspot on hot days and a swimming and diving club in the seventies and eighties.
It is now only used for nature conservation and is of interest to ornithologists (owls / eagle owls and birds of prey, etc.). A committed resident from the neighborhood keeps a strict watch on the fence that no one climbs over it.
