For me, the Eggesiner water hiking rest area has always been one of the most beautiful in our district and in Western Pomerania. And it has become even more attractive in recent years. In addition to a campsite for cyclists and paddlers with a clean sanitary building and a snack bar, where a tasty goulash soup or solyanka is served from time to time, there are also pitches for mobile homes and stationary bungalows. There are also a number of berths for permanent and guest boaters. Pedal boats, paddle boats and license-free motor boats can be hired. This is the best way to explore the Uecker and Randow as far as Ueckermünde.
Raft trips on the two rivers can be organized by prior arrangement and the local flora and fauna are expertly explained. With a little luck you can get closer to the beavers. These trips can be enjoyed with coffee and cake as well as a hearty grilled meal.

The bar/restaurant is highly recommended. The food, the prices and the staff are all very good. There is currently live music on Tuesdays and they serve smoked fish. The area at the back is a good place to camp in a tent. If that's not enough for you, you can rent a canoe and explore the Randow.
