At the "Ganil" lock, the cliff falls steeply into the river, forcing the men to dig the limestone rock of the cliff for almost 1 km in 1845 by the strength of the arms. It is decorated with a bas-relief more than 30 meters long, carved in 1985 by the artist Daniel MONNIER from Toulouse. It evokes its representation of the river and its surroundings: fauna, flora, rocks, fossils and whirlpools.
