After public bathing operations at the Escher (Bagger)see were closed in 2003, a private investor took over the helm in 2007. Since then you can swim in the former quarry pond again and enjoy that beach feeling. If you like it a little quieter, you should come here during the week and/or in the evening. It can get pretty crowded here in the summer.
