The Altenwörth power plant is a Danube run-of-river power plant in the Katastralgemeinde Altenwörth of the Lower Austrian municipality Kirchberg am Wagram, about 20 kilometers below Krems. The most powerful Austrian Danube power plant was built between 1973 and 1976 and belongs to the Lower Danube plant group.
