Black Lake is really black! The water in it is crystal clear, but at the bottom of the lake, organic waste from plants and animals accumulates and creates a thick layer of dark mud, which gives the lake its characteristic color. It is located in a swampy area in the middle of the Pohorje forest and represents a pleasant excursion point, to which a nice path leads from the direction of Dom na Osankarici over wooden footbridges. The lake area is protected as a natural monument.
