Castellaro Lagusello is a small medieval village that sits on a hill, near the iconic heart-shaped lake. The cobbled center of the village with the imposing castle is worth a detour.
Not far from Castellaro there is the nature reserve of the same name with some beautiful dirt paths to cycle on.

Very nice singletrack/doubletrack that runs along the hills of the Castellaro Lagusello park, passing near the lake and the Palafitticolo site. Continuing from the dirt road you will have a beautiful view of the town of Castellaro.

The village stands on a small hill overlooking a heart-shaped lake. The lake and the castle, dating back to 1100-1200, give the name to the small village that is part of the association of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The tour around the lake is wonderful. The half-moon itinerary (excluding the provincial stretch) is feasible by bike even by the little ones or a splendid excursion on foot.
