    In Neustädter Hafen you can stroll wonderfully and discover all kinds of things, from magnificent traditional sailors to modern sports boats. Neustadt is an important center of sailing and here you will also find the largest private sport boat marina in the Baltic Sea. You can take a water taxi ride there from Neustädter Hafen. We also recommend a fish sandwich, freshly tapped beer and enjoying the evening sun.

            Town in a bay in the Bay of Lübeck. Picturesque with an inland water after the small (fishing) port. Beautiful promenades, bathing beaches especially in the districts Pelzerhaken and Rettin. Great spot for kiting and windsurfing between Pelzerhaken and Rettin.

                In the Middle Ages, the city has suffered severe damage from large city fires, epidemics and wartime burdens. The oldest building in the city is the big city church in the center.

                The more than 770-year-old port city of Neustadt in Holstein, in which trade and a variety of neighborhood relations - including with the Baltic States and Russia - have come about, today not only characterized by the municipal port, but also offers a good 300 boats in the marina equipped berth with modern jetties. Neustadt in Holstein thus has the largest marina on the German Baltic Sea coast and assumes a leading role as a water sports center.

                      Neustadt's fjord-like harbor, a wonderful place to stroll,
                      connects the open sea almost directly to the town center.
                      Large traditional sailing ships are moored here on thick ropes, and along the harbor's edge, restaurants invite you to enjoy creative and exquisite fish dishes on their terraces on the quay or in the back row. Beer connoisseurs and lovers, meanwhile, enjoy the evening sun
                      and the view of the harbor's hustle and bustle with a freshly tapped beer at Klüvers Brauhaus. Directly adjacent to the modern restaurants is Germany's oldest fishing guild – the Neustadt Fishermen's Office, dating back to 1474 – whose drying area is adorned with fishing nets, buoys, and flags.
                      The fish sandwich cutter in the harbor invites you to enjoy a fish snack to go.

                                                Unfortunately you have to leave the coastal path at Bliesdorf beach: it is not possible to drive past the campsite! The best way to go towards Grömitz is via Albersdorf! Otherwise a very varied tour!
