Classified natural heritage since 1988, the haven serves as an estuary for the Vanlée river. Covered with salt meadows and salt flats, it is accessible by a submersible road covered during high tides. Perhaps you will have the pleasure of seeing the sheep roaming free.

This haven is one of the 8 on the west coast of the Cotentin; going north, from the rocky outcrop of Cape Lihou in Granville, to that of Cape Carteret, we discover successively the harbors of Vanlée, Regnéville, Blainville, Geffosses, Saint-Germain-sur -Ay, Surville, Portbail and Carteret.
