With the gravel bike, the last few kilometers before the summit are already borderline, but with the best will in the world I can't imagine that with the racing bike.
In any case, the summit is an absolute highlight of this region and worth a visit.
The driveway from Montevarchi is partly shaded and "cool" by the forest and the watercourse.
The road is narrow and since oncoming traffic is always to be expected, the speed on the descent must be adjusted accordingly.
