The unification tunnel was built in 1802 to drain the mine water and to mine the hard coal. The tunnel was shut down in 1847 and reactivated in 1898 when the Gutglück & Wrangel colliery used it again to drain water and mine coal. With the closure of this colliery, the tunnel finally became meaningless and it fell into disrepair.

An old coal transport route from the time shortly after the Second World War. It was used to transport the coal of different seams for transport to the Ruhr.
