Due to its special flora and fauna, large areas of the Dhünnaue are under nature protection. Thanks to the good water quality and the high structural diversity of the water bed, kingfishers, dippers and gray wagtails can still be observed here.

At this point is a small beach, directly on the Dhünn. You can cool off here briefly, especially on hot summer days. A bench for breaks is also available.
