Rolling along the bike lane of the Batel Park we have beautiful views of the Castle of Cartagena or the Puerta del Socorro. An ideal place if we want to stop to rest and/or recover energy. The Batel Park has a large green esplanade where we can walk, ride a bike or play with the little ones.

Batel Park is a modern green space located near the popular Auditorio y Palacio de Congresos El Batel museum, which the park also surrounds and complements. The park is a beautiful retreat right on the coast and is close to the port of Cartagena. It combines modern architecture with native vegetation and a clean, minimalist design that matches the style of the convention center. The park is known for its terraces and elegant, geometric gardens, which feature Mediterranean plants such as olive trees, palm trees and lavender. Curved paths, rest areas with benches and various small water features create a relaxing atmosphere.

The park is often used for cultural events and small outdoor exhibitions as it offers a refreshing balance between nature and urban space. The park is especially beautiful at sunset when the warm light falls on the modern structures and water, creating a unique mood. Highly recommended.
