The medieval St. George's Church on the south-west edge is slightly elevated in the middle of meadows and is one of the most beautiful things to see in the district of Forchheim, indeed in the entire area. St. George's Church was mentioned for the first time in the contract between Konrad Gottsmann and Forchheim's St. Martin's Abbey of November 26, 1405.
