Eisenhüttenstadt was built as a planned city after a decision in July 1950 as a socialist residential town for the Iron and Steel Combine East (EKO), which since 1953 Stalinstadt called district was in 1961 united with Fürstenberg Eisenhüttenstadt. I added a few interesting buildings. The restaurant activist, the Friedrich Wolf Theater, a modernized residential building and the old post office. It was built in the style of the then newspaper kiosks.
