    The watch tower on the Wartberg dates back to the 15th century and was once used as an observation post for the Pforzheim city fortifications. A spiral staircase takes you to the upper platform, from which you can enjoy a great view.

    The total height of the tower to the roof is eleven meters. If you want to climb the tower, you have to get the key from the nearby restaurant L'Osteria (Wartbergallee 10). Next to the tower there is a playground for little hikers.

        The Pforzheim watch tower was built on the Wartberg in the 14th or 15th century and was a former fortification and signal tower that served as an observation post for the Pforzheim city fortifications. The tower was surrounded by a complete circular wall with loopholes and only accessible via ladders before it was restored in 1869 and provided with a door and stairs.

        The key deposited with the tower sponsor is required for viewing. Turmpate is the leaseholder of the nearby restaurant L'Osteria at Wartbergallee 100.

          A beautiful little tower on the Wartberg. There is also a view from below towards Pforzheim.
          The restaurant, where the key is deposited, is located about 200 meters to the west.

                  Popular meeting place even in the current situation with all the restrictions, especially with younger people in the evening.

                  It is often difficult to find a free bench for a relaxed view of the city below. Just do it ... the distance between the benches is corona safe :)

                      It is beautifully situated. A little below is a playground.
                      You have a beautiful view over Pforzheim and not far from there is the "Osteria" for feasting
