A great classic outings in eastern Paris. From Chennevières to Joinville the one-way road runs along the Marne and the speed limit of 30 km/h calms traffic.

As good for a short stroll from Paris as for returning from a 100 kilometer outing in Seine-et-Marne.

Very friendly but it can get crowded especially when the weather is nice.
I went there at the end of February 2022 and it seems that the road is closed to motorized vehicles on Sundays which can make bike rides easier and more pleasant, thus avoiding either the proximity of cars on the road or slaloming on the wide sidewalk .
Good to know: the path below the road just on the edge of the Marne is prohibited for cycling.

The municipality had the good idea to prohibit the roadway to car traffic, and as there is a parallel pedestrian promenade, bicycles are quiet.
