At the quarry in Lommiswil / Oberdorf, dinosaur tracks can be viewed from a secured platform. The dinosaur tracks are the most important trace finds from the Jurassic period in Europe. Large display boards provide information about the formation of the tracks and report on the life of the dinosaurs. The steep wall with the tracks was the first geotope in Switzerland to be placed under protection and made accessible to the public with a viewing platform.
