You must visit the Alte Opel racecourse. After all, it is a document of the industrial history of the Rhine-Main region and the information boards on the observation deck describe in great detail the trend-setting development of automobile construction in the decade after the First World War.

Automotive history in a dry sleep:

The Opel Rennbahn is located about 2 km south of Rüsselsheim in a small forest. Much of the railway is overgrown with trees and bushes. A small part of the track has been painstakingly cleared and can be viewed from an iron footbridge. You can immerse yourself in the past of the Opel racetrack using the existing information boards with plenty of information material.
