In 1993 a water wheel was built in the Olper Weierhohl, reminiscent of the traditional location of the “Obersten Mühle” from 1580. At that time it was operated with hydropower, fed from the Olpebach. The water wheel made of oak wood with a diameter of around two meters and a width of around 60 centimeters is based on an old mill wheel.
