A cathedral is a sacred building, which always looks imposing and radiates great power and calm in its quiet, stoic grandeur. The Merseburg Cathedral is perhaps not the largest of the cathedral buildings, but - embedded in the cute old town of Merseburg - highly recommended to look at and explore!

The vault with the Merseburg magic spells in the side wing is particularly impressive. Mystical, mysterious, dark and with soft music in the background. Beautifully designed, the exhibits well prepared - really great!
