the "fourteen lakes" is again a wonderful place on the Kreuzeck-Höhenweg. However, in my opinion, this is also the most difficult section on the entire route. At one point you have to pass a small rock ledge, which is exactly where the track becomes extremely narrow and it just goes down to the left. Here it is less important to count lakes than to pay attention to the path. After you have a safe place again you can count the lakes in peace.
