If you're chasing altitude on your racing bike or have laced up your hiking boots, there's no way around the highest point in the Oberbergischer Kreis. A little tip to get the most out of yourself: make the detour up to the tower (extra altitude!) and then sprint up the 22 steps. It'll burn your calves, but if the weather's good you'll be rewarded with a wonderful view.

The tower is open to visitors. You should definitely make the ascent because there is a spectacular view in all directions.

Magnificent view....

without rifle ....
From Saturday the first April'17 a kiosk has opened at the tower ..
Opening hours Saturday, Sunday, public holidays from 11am to 6pm and Fridays from 1pm
