I can only agree!
A lot has happened here in the last few years...
The cycle path should actually be finished all the way to Heiligenblut!
As far as I know, you can get on the bus in Spittal/Drau in the morning, which takes your bike, and ride to Heiligenblut and then cycle the whole way downstream...
Should be possible in one day!
