The Halbmeiler Wiesen nature reserve is a very special landscape. Although it was created by human hands (presumably through deforestation for agriculture in the 16th century), it still offers a habitat for numerous rare plants and animals. Bird species such as meadow pipit and whinchat find a retreat here and the beautiful flowers of the colorful meadows are home to numerous rare insect species.
Definitely a beautiful place that deserves to be treated with respect.
