Visitors to the Grugapark can find out about current examples of garden culture and garden practice in the 1.5 hectare model garden. The park is thus picking up on a theme from the time of its origins as the “Great Horticultural Exhibition in the Ruhr Region”. Themed gardens provide ideas for your own garden, such as the "Sonnental", the design of which resembles Pompeian courtyards, or the grill garden. Artfully brick walls, pretty paving, an ecologically designed pond and the swimming pond in a modern design show the variety of garden design. The association "Mustergartenanlage im Grugapark e.V." looks after the plant and plants it according to the seasons. The members organize subject-related campaigns and events. The dates can be found in the events calendar of the Grugapark. The Romanisches Haus is used as a gardening advice center. Interested visitors who would like to realize their dream garden will receive competent answers to questions from garden practice.
