The Puente Atlántico, opened in 2019, is a four-lane road bridge at the Gatún locks, which is 1,050 meters long and is designed as a cable-stayed bridge with two pylons.
The 3 km long Punte Atlantico was inaugurated in 2019 as the third bridge over the Panama Canal. It is also the first bridge on Panama's Atlantic coast and the largest bridge in the country. It is supported by two 212.5 m high reinforced concrete pylons and 256 stay cables.
