Schloss Fasanerie is a castle in Eichenzell near Fulda. Originally known as Schloss Adolphseck, the 18th-century building is considered Hesse's most beautiful Baroque castle by the museum administration and is open to visitors. A short stroll through the garden is recommended at any time of year.

The inner workings can be explored with guided tours. But even without it, a visit is worthwhile. Both the sight and the attached castle garden with garden shed, duck pond and castle wall are great.

The baroque city palace was built between 1708 and 1714. There you can admire a collection from the Fulda Porcelain Manufactory and state rooms from the 19th century. From there, you can enjoy a wonderful view over Fulda and the Rhön Mountains.
