The Rettern pulpit offers a wonderful panoramic view. From the left you can see the foothills of Weilersbach (Oberweilersbach). If you let your gaze wander further to the right, you will also recognize the small Serlbach, which can be discovered behind the adjacent forest. On the right you can see the Jägersburg, which adorns the entrance to Bammersdorf. The view from up here extends completely over Forchheim. When the weather is clear, you can follow the A73 motorway with your eyes and see the "long Johann" in Erlangen.

The Rettern pulpit can be easily reached by bike via the paths of the flint plateau. You have to walk a few meters to the viewpoints. In the meantime, the view has grown quite a bit with bushes, but there are still some places from which you can see very well.
