The Hengsen-Opherdicke military training area is a large area located between the towns of Hengsen and Opherdicke near Schwerte in the Unna district of North Rhine-Westphalia. The area was originally used as a military training area, but today it is an interesting area that is partially open to the public and particularly attracts nature lovers and hikers.
