The artist installed a segment of an oversized sundial for the "Time" place of reflection. It consists of a stone St. Anthony's Cross, in front of a bench on which one can sit down.
The viewer's gaze falls on six stone pillars set up in a semicircle some distance away, from which the course of the sun can be read. The crossbar of the cross marks the north-south direction. Sunrises on specific calendar days are displayed
Despite the correct calibration that makes this watch an exact instrument, it is not about being able to read the exact time with the precision of hours and minutes. Rather, the different facets of the phenomenon of time are visualized in their complexity and made comprehensible: audible, visible, tangible time.
The focus is on a cosmic time that finds its natural interval through sunrise and sunset; it's about the seasons, which can be read not only on the sundial itself, but also on the surrounding fields, about sowing, growth, harvest and fallow.
