From the collegiate church, it is worth taking an easy, almost 15-minute hike up to the "Forest Cathedral", a unique park and forest landscape based on the French model. The trees have stood here for over 200 years and form a kind of basilica. Understandable that they are even under "monument protection"! The Beromünster Canonry is an absolute must-see. The heart of the monastery is the magnificent St. Michael's Church. Its interior is an architectural dream of turquoise, white, and gold. In front of the church portal, on the right-hand garden wall, hangs a large, detailed map describing all the buildings and providing the viewer with a perfect overview of the complex. It's worth allowing some time for a visit.
