Far from romantic, but still worth seeing.

There's plenty of driftwood on the banks, the huge BASF factory opposite on the Palatinate bank, and the occasional ship sailing into the Neckar. Beyond that, there are desolate industrial plants towards Mannheim... what more could you want?
