Nice shelter to rest. Good starting point to get to the von Göler hut, to "at rest" or to the highest tree in the Odenwald.
Was once built by the British Royal Engimeers from Hamrln. They came to Eberbach for many years, and we owe them a few huts, bridges and fences.

Who makes this dangling off the route, already encounters the hut on the summit on this refuge with beautiful views. For a bivouac, if you have a good insulating base. The last piece of 20 min to Albrecht v. Göler hut should be accepted, it offers even more;)
