The BaySF Bike Trail Langenau was created especially for mountain bikers. The natural single trail is only open to mountain bikers and in one direction, so that you can fully concentrate on the trail on the descent between the Langenau Alm and the Schwaiger Alm.
The approach to the start is via the gravel path that runs parallel to the trail. Riding is free and you can surf the trail as often as you like.

Not a nice trail. Too little speed, too many roots and too narrow. Not recommendable!

Terrible trail, consists almost entirely of roots. Zero flow, just incredibly exhausting and at some point you leave it annoyed (I'm back on the forest slope at around 90%, which is a boon). If you consider that this is the only official MTB trail in the Bavarian state forests. An indictment. This will certainly not get the bikers off the "illegal" trails.
