The iconic Sugar Loaf (properly Mynydd Pen-y-fâl) boasts wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, stretching across to the Severn Estuary and encompassing the national park. It might be a tough climb for its size, but it is certainly one of the best vistas in the Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons). This neat conical hill, almost pyramid like in shape, is well worth climbing.
