The sheet pile wall of the port was extensively renovated in 2021 so that cruise ships can continue to dock. On the right side of the harbor there are some little booths. At the front there are 2 fishing cutters with fish sandwiches and more. There are several restaurants at the port. Lauterbach has had a lighthouse again since 2022.

Interesting marina next to the shipyard with stilt houses and a WOMO parking space, newly created. If you like good steaks, you should stop by the hotel & restaurant "Am Bodden" and try the "Dry Aged Steaks", expensive but very, very yummy :-)

Very nice place with swimming facilities a bit away from the center and a huge marina. The "high society" harbor is a bit overwhelming. The small city port next to it already nice.
