Even if the road is very busy, with good combinations of curves it is easy to roll along in traffic, if not more :) Good surface, one of the best (fast but still pleasant) descents into the boiler from the Filder plain!

Now, after a few bends, there are heavy (and large) potholes and longitudinal grooves (especially in the middle section). Don't drive too close if you don't know the route and want to avoid the potholes. Any other route is better than this route (traffic volume, narrow route, no overtaking).

Towards Degerloch Albplatz -> Schimmelhüttenweg (shortly steeper at the bottom)

Towards Sonnenberg -> Christian-Belser-Straße / Abraham-Wolf-Straße (shortly steeper at the top)

brilliant for driving down - you can also stop off at the forest cemetery halfway there.
