Football stadium in Bremen from SV Werder Bremen
The history of the Bremen Weserstadion goes back to 1909, when a simple sports field with wooden stands was built here. It is located directly on the banks of the Weser in the Pauliner Marsch. However, there have often been problems with flood protection in this flood area.
