Rossa GR municipality
Rossa is a political municipality in the Moesa region of the canton of Graubünden in Switzerland.
The municipality includes Rossa as well as the formerly independent municipalities of Augio and Santa Domenica GR. Further back in the valley is the Valbella district and the district of "Scandalasc", which also belong to Rossa. Rossa is the furthest village in the Calanca valley and the last post bus stop.
From Rossa, a mule track leads over the Pass di Giümela (2,117 m above sea level) to Fontana in the Val Pontirone.

In the municipality there are numerous houses of worship and buildings influenced by the Walsers, as well as many images of saints painted as frescoes on the walls of houses and stables, chapels and oratories. A rich cultural heritage invites you to relax.
The 17th century S. Bernardo church boasts fake marble columns (imitated from stucco) that look amazingly similar to the original - and the price was certainly excellent!
